Review and Updating of Technical Studies and Design for the Kapoeta-Boma-Raad Road (280 Km)- South Sudan- Ethiopia - Djibouti Transport Corridor Project-Phase II

The main objectives and scope of the assignment include:

•
Reviewing and updating the economic feasibility and detailed engineering design study reports based on best acceptable practices covering the Kapoeta – Boma - Raad road corridor.

•
Preparing a detailed Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), Resettlement Action Plan (RAP), and Social Infrastructure Needs Assessment reports.

•
Preparing the separate cost estimates (based on recommended Lots) for a complete upgrade of the road corridor to a paved surface and related environmental and social management plans.

•
Preparing bidding documents based on the packaged Lots suitable for international competitive bidding (ICB), and

•
Preparing specific technical specifications and the employer's requirements to be used in the tender documents.
