The Government of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe received funding from the African Development Fund (ADF) to cover the cost of the Extreme Climate Co-Management Project for Agriculture and Fisheries Resilience (PRIASA III) of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development, and intends to use part of these funds to finance the consulting services contract for the preparation of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the Rehabilitation of Rural Roads in the Autonomous Region of Príncipe (RAP) and in São Tomé (Canavial).
