1.The Government of Kenya (GoK) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the National Agricultural Value Chain Development Project (NAVCDP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for REHABILITATION WORKS FOR ISINET KALESIRUA IRRIGATION SCHEME IN IMBIRIKANI/ESELENKEI WARD, KAJIADO SOUTH SUB COUNTY, KAJIADO COUNTY. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.

2.The DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, LIVESTOCK, VETERINARY SERVICES & FISHERIES, County Government of KAJIADO, now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for REHABILITATION WORKS FOR ISINET KALESIRUA IRRIGATION SCHEME IN IMBIRIKANI/ESELENKEI WARD, KAJIADO SOUTH SUB COUNTY, KAJIADO COUNTY that includes majorly rehabilitation of intake works, main secondary and distribution canals, construction of Division boxes, construction of ring culverts, construction of cattle troughs, construction of toilet blocks, the time for completion is 365 days

3.Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” First Published July 2016 & Revised Fourth Edition November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the County Government of Kajiado website www.kajiado.go.ke or Email navcdpkajiado@gmail.com and inspect the Bidding document during office hours 0800 to 1700 hours East African Time (EAT) at the address given below:[1].

5. The bidding document in English may be viewed, inspected and obtained free of charge by interested eligible Bidders from the County Government of Kajiado website www.kajiado.go.ke or Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP) Website https://tender.go.ke

6. Bids will be delivered at the tender box located at the livestock office, on the address below on or before 13th October 2026 at 1100 hours EAT. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 13th October 2026 at 1100 hours East African Time (EAT).

7.All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security KES. 1,496,641.80 (Kenya shilling one million four hundred ninety-six thousand six hundred and forty-one shillings and eighty cents only).

8. There shall be a pre-tender site visit for the above tender on 29th September 2026 1100hours(EAT). Bidders to assemble at the at Isinet chief’s office

9. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
